The female Maria gained a skill of making pots and passed this down to her children wishing one day they are going to do the same. She makes these pots right outside her home while using accommodation of clay, solid wood and lawn. When offering the pots, Mama Karen came to find out that her profit is incredibly low. The pots are not expensive and so she could hardly make enough money to feed her household. At times she would exchange her cooking pots for clay-based in order to generate more pots to sell. The film focuses on the selection of work that will help keep the family members alive in the East African culture. This shows shots of women producing houses and it clashes the rural and urban life-style. In the downtown lifestyles, they do not farm or sell goods to make money. Women who are living the city lifestyles operate offices (they are typewriters), own their particular business, or perhaps sew. Women who live in the urban life-style dressed differently than those who occupied the rural life-style. Women inside the rural place wore modestos dresses while women in the urban region wore green jeans or dresses that had been tailored. The film continue to be compare and contrast relationships amongst different groups in Tanzania to aid the viewer understand the way of living of the girls in the film. In the middle of the film, the filmmaker starts to cover the partnership between males and females and women and females. Mama Celite was clever enough to reduce anything she believed was useless to her life. Throughout her interview, it was getting clearer for the audience which the husbands of Tanzanian females were not benefitting their life. Mama Celite's interview took place outside her house. The girl held her children low as the lady spoke upon the divorce she wished with her husband. The lady mentioned just how her husband did not add anything great to her existence. She experienced as if having been making her poorer by having him as an extra mouth to nourish.
